The most horrible game I have ever had I am warning you, never get! So difficult and stupid If I could I would rate this a - ∞ You Will Hate It Too!
It was difficult to use
It helps me with my maths and problem solving .Makes you use your brain more.I am using an iPhone 5 on iOS 8.1.1
Whoever wrote these questions didn't run them by enough people. In the first 50 questions, I found a few that have multiple valid answers. For instance, one such question was "Sun : Planet :: Earth : ?" and both Moon and Satellite were options. Now, the moon is a satellite technically, and so the precision of language is off. It's a little annoying to have to assume that the test is made for people who don't know the actual definition of "satellite." Another one was "99 : 98 :: 198 : ?" and both 197 and 196 were listed. The test maker says it's the obvious answer (197), not recognizing that 198 is just twice 99 and 196 is twice 98, so 196 is the answer if you're thinking in terms of proportions (as opposed to the simple linguistic connection of "minus 1"). What I mean is proportionally/multiplicatively, 99:98=198:196. With at least two such questions out of just the first 50, it's obvious to me that the test makers didn't vet their questions. And anyway the questions generally seem to be too easy, at least the first 50.
I downloaded this app to increase my IQ or at least keep myself sharp. I have an IQ of 133. Not genius but certainly not dumb. I've noticed inconsistencies and fallacies in some of the questions. It's very frustrating. When there is a rule made, especially in coding and mathematical equations, it becomes really frustrating when none of the answers adhere to the set rule. Then, after finishing the questions I wanted to see the reasoning behind the given "correct" answer but, in this particular section, these answers held no explanation. Just a little frustrating. If the glitches can be fixed this game could be great. Also, please indicate, after the tests are taken, an approximate IQ score. Seeing as this is an IQ test... Right?
Although the app is fun, the actual IQ Test is not free. This is very misleading to say such in the app title. Hence two stars for misrepresentation but well developed otherwise.
Okay but a lot of questions have multiple possible answers, making the overall tests irrelevant.
Let's just say the IQ of the person creating the questions can't be all that high. I got one question wrong that went something like this- Hand:elbow::leg:? The answer (according to this app) was "knee". The rationale was that an ELBOW IS A JOINT IN A HAND AND A KNEE IS A JOINT IN A LEG! Well, now I know the answer to the age-old question, "can one kiss their own elbow?" The answer is: Yes! Just kiss your own hand. Eyeroll...
I would like to think of this app as a rough draft for an app with lots of potential. It is easy to navigate and has interesting and engaging categories. However, many of the questions are either worded wrong or have wrong answers. It is very frustrating to come upon these errors. It is as if the developer was trying to rush the app out without going over his own work.
Fun to do, but many of the questions are poorly worded or have multiple correct answers (eg. Multiple "mirror images" depending on the axis of symmetry!) I've also found a couple where the solution is flat out wrong.
I'm looking for something that gives me a score. Maybe I'm too dumb to find it? I spent quite awhile on working these problems out, getting mostly 80's or above. Is my IQ too low to figure out what my IQ is, or is that part of the exam?
Crashy, freezy. Just stops working in the middle of tests. Now I'll never know if I'm smart.
The overall concept and layout of breaking intelligence out into cleanly, identifiable sectors is brilliant. With that being said, grammar and context conveyed in the Visualization test (a purchasable add-on) is sloppy and careless. Define the variation between mirror imaging and water imaging to the user. It appears that questions were worded by someone having knowledge of English as a second language and may have missed (or neglected to add) certain nuances. Programming and ease of use is fluid...not bad. Most importantly, at the end of the test, I'm not connected to rankings or any other meaningful analytics. People don't want to pay to take a test and hear they got a certain percentage correct without seeing the relationship between that and a metric that ranks them against their peers. Don't lost sight of the app's proposition offering as a whole.
Having taken several proctored I.Q. Tests, I found this to be practically useless. The reasoning behind many of the questions was weak ( several were just straight-up wrong) and the emphasis on numbers was disproportionate. Very disappointing.
This game is really hard and confusing but it is still really fun the best thing is it doesn't call you stupid it just gives you a number of course mine was a 57%but. I'll keep trying if you are thinking about downloading it make sure that your up for a challenge this game is a big one 👍😕
This app helps you become more familiar with the thinking patterns used to answer most IQ questions on official tests. It serves as a great aid in improving your puzzle solving skills. I am not sure if the scoring system is accurate or not, because I scored an unusually high score of 152. I've realized the timer is irrelevant in your final score because I answered 38/50 questions correctly and so did my friend. The thing is, both of us took completely different time periods to finish the test yet scored the same score of 152. Clearly, time is not a factor that contributes to your final score meaning the timer is pointless. This also led to the conclusion that for each question you get correct, 4 points is added to your final score. Think about it- I got 38 questions correct and 38 x 4=152. IQ tests are based off how intelligent you are compared to everyone else. A score of 152 would make me 1 in 2,000 according to random sources on google. I do not believe I am that intelligent. If this test were accurate, then the mean of most test takers should be 100. Based off of my leaderboard position, the score of 152 set me in the 11th percentile. The significance of that means I scored higher than 89% of other users, meaning 11% scored higher than me. If that's case, I do not fit the "genius" definition as only the top .3% of the population are geniuses. This would set my legitamate score as ~119. The scores are definitely inflated- and that is a issue.
This doesn't show u the answer to the problem until after u finish the entire section.
It doesent even give u your iq
It is very thorough, gives you a lot of questions, allows review, gives explanations, and there aren't tons of annoying ads! When I am finished with the free version, I will definitely buy the add ons :)

best best best
Wheres the fancy visual problem solving? My ADHD can't tolerate all those word problems
Excellent researched format of questions and results within specified time
The concept of this app is good, but there's several questions had the wrong choices. There's some errors in some of the test.
So far, in all the question groups I have access to, there have been questions that were either ambiguous or had multiple answers. "Odd one out" questions are poorly designed, especially where number patterns are concerned. Yes, there are a lot of questions that make you think, but is very frustrating finding one clearly justifiable pattern or solution and having the app turn out a different, and also justifiable, solution. If you insist on writing a puzzle game, make sure the answers are, if not clear, at least unique! (-3 stars) The interface could use a little tweaking. Number/word answers can be tapped directly, but for pictures you have to find the letter or number of the answer instead of tapping the one you want. (-1 star) I haven't had it crash yet, maybe I'm just lucky. I haven't bought the extra question packs, but might do so just for the brain exercise. (+1 for considering it at all)
The 2 star because I can't use the full version even though I've purchased it. Once I'm able to use full version I'll re-review the app.
Good brain workout.. Enjoyed the challenge, spot on ! ( could use a little proof reading)
Dont even give u the iq
Good app but if you upgrade it should transfer data instead of starting over!! You should be able twilit in the middle of a section and come back to it later.
pay for iq test
Could you fix this already?!?????? It's been trying and failing to update for days!!!!!!! Worst part....... I paid for full version.... Ugh!
The answers in the results page could use proofreading. There have been instances where the app marks a wrong answer as being the correct one, contradicting the explanation that is given along with it. Also, I know this app probably wasn't intended to be like a real IQ test, but in that case I think it would be better if the name was changed to avoid potentially misleading some people. Maybe it should be called a "brain test" rather than an "IQ test."
Obviously, English is not the native language of the developer. Text reads as if it were converted to English using a free app from the iTunes Store.
It's really great! The best IQ test app. Try the mixed test . Anyway get this app and you won't regret it plus I did good. I gotten 120 on the mixed, above average.
Great for keeping my old brain in-tune!
Like an Einstein.. )))
Since win is your uncle's child your nephew? And what exactly is a cousin brother? Not sure the brilliant minds who came up with these questions. Other questions not bad.
I got a 90 an I'm 11 is that good?
It's very nice I really like the fact it won't press you into buying the full version
I didn't do so good on the alphabet sequences, nor the number sequences. ( so of you aren't good at counting and recognizing sequence patterns- then you aren't going to do to well, :o. ) I just took the mixed and did poorly, made my mother do the same- she did poorly too- but has a Masters in nursing and taught 40+ years. ? So don't feel bad if you did terrible. ;)
last time i took a real iq test was about 8-9 years ago (1st/2nd grade) iq was around 135... took the mixed iq test no hints and got 167... let's hope this is the real deal haha!
I ran into quite a few questions that had the wrong answer programmed. In one example it was a simple pattern, since I had seen it on a question before I knew what it would be. In the explanation it sounded like two people battling over the answer but eventually choosing an answer that made no sense, I went over it multiple times and saw no pattern.
Don't waste precious storage space on this crappy appy
Good app. I'd probably give it 5 stars if my IQ was higher. I'm hoping it's not very accurate tho saying it told me I'm severely challenged. Lovely self esteem booster.
It's pretty ironic how he used the wrong form of "you're" in his comment title, before he went on to attack the intelligence of others. Moron...
Somewhat accurate. The questions are relatively easy, though. It said my IQ was 144 the first time, which is about right, and 163 on the next. Some of the patterns are very elementary, and catching on will likely exaggerate your "score" on any tests after the first one P.S. I found a mistake in one of the questions. HEAT can be made into 5 words without changing the order(he, heat, eat, at, a) , but the top option is 4.
Many of the people using this don't seem to understand how these questions are constructed and a number of them are lying. "I have an I.Q. of 133 and this app is so up and down, first it says I score 32 and then I score 288" <=*Your score in this doesn't go above 200 I max answered the questions, also that massive up and down inconsistency is you guessing if that was an exaggeration. You expect me to believe you, you have a score of 133 (that is near the 2% population of people) and you scored 32 in this app full of standard questions? Quit while your ahead. "This app is DUMB..." <= obviously you cant be with that beautiful opening. Use this app for practice not to prove how smart you are and complain when you find out that you have troubles with it. Do Putnam problems by hand, study up on literary devices, read a book that isn't teenage angst. If you truly want to grow you simply need to learn, an ability everyone has rather than getting frustrated and quitting. ~(Source) I just scored 146 on a standard test and applying for MENSA now. This helped me study because questions are a pain to collect being as scattered as they are. Also I find a nuisance of immature LOFT people that complain about things they can do, claiming they can't, when they don't try whatsoever.
It was challenging until i realized if you tap the question once or twice fast it gives you the answer.
Can't believe that they used a swastika in a pattern finding question! That's not right - this app needs immediate editing or should be removed!! Plus most of the questions are poorly worded or are so vague that there could be logical reasons for answering multiple ways. I've only had this app for about 10 min and I'm already deleting it!!!!
